3 Gardens To Visit In Vancouver

Blog by Antonio Vargas | January 19th, 2017

If you love beautiful outdoor spaces, lush green lawns and gorgeous landscaping, in Vancouver you are definitely spoiled for choice when it comes to garden parks to visit! The following is Vargas real estate’s pick of the most beautiful garden parks to visit in Vancouver.

1)  VanDusen Botanical Garden.

You could easily spend the entire day at what is arguably Vancouver’s most charming outdoor parks. Allow yourself to be captivated by its plentiful, bright and lovely flowers in the spring and summer, ponds and pretty pathways. Then get yourself lost in the confusing hedge maze! Once you have worked up an appetite, enjoy a scrumptious afternoon tea at Truffles Cafe. During winter, you can enjoy the spectacular Festival of lights.

2) Queen Elizabeth Park’s Quarry Gardens.

Featuring two quarry gardens, these delightful gardens are situated at the highest point in the city and offer the most stunning views from both the gardens and the famous Seasons in the Park Restaurant. A favorite of Antonio Vargas (realtor Vancouver), the gardens are also home to the lovely dancing fountains. Raining? No problem! Take a tour around the indoor Blodel Conservatory which features an extensive array of interesting birds and beautiful tropical plants.

3) Stanley Park Gardens.

Ask any realtor- Stanley Park Gardens is ideally situated close to the Seawall, the Vancouver Aquarium, and the Stanley Park Totem Poles. With free entrance, the Stanley Park Gardens are a firm favorite amongst Vancouver locals not only because of their magnificent fir and cedar trees, but also due to the attractive flowers that bloom in spring and summer. The Stanley Park Gardens also feature a colorful and fragrant rhododendron garden, a rose garden, as well as a floral carpet display located at the highest point in the park (Prospect Point).
