- I have spent my entire adult life in marketing and sales; I cannot recall the last time I had a Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s getaway. Also, keep the décor small to medium size and classic to avoid making the property look crowded. For buyers, look at any areas of the real estate that seem excessively decorated. Make sure that the seller isn’t hiding a critical flaw in the home.
